Qasr Al Watan

The Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, open to visitors since 2019, with an audio guided tour of up to two hours and an evening light show.

Abu Dhabi · UAE · Experiences

Qasr Al Watan is the working Presidential Palace of the UAE and it opened to the public in 2019. It sits beside Emirates Palace at the western end of the Corniche and presents itself as a place to understand governance, knowledge and craftsmanship rather than a museum of objects.

The official site offers general admission with an audio guide in five languages for a self paced visit of up to two hours. There is a map to download, exhibitions in several zones, dining and shopping. An evening show called Palace in Motion runs on selected dates.

Go in the late afternoon, walk the halls in daylight and stay for the show if it runs on your date. The white stone and the great hall are the reasons people come.
