What we cover
Six countries, nine cities and everything reachable from them in a weekend. Hotels and resorts, staycations, dining, wellness and the experiences that are the actual reason to go somewhere. If it is not worth your time, it does not get a page.
How we choose
We start from the trip, not the inventory. A property earns a place here when it does one thing better than its neighbours and we say what that thing is in its own description. Nothing is listed until we have confirmed its details with a named source.
Where a rate is shown it is an indication, converted into the currency of the region you have selected. The booking platform confirms the final amount and we never hold a price on anyone’s behalf. A listing with no confirmed rate shows no rate at all.
How we are paid
When booking links go live, the platform you book through may pay us a commission. You will pay the same either way. That commission will fund the guides and the site and it will never change the order of a list or whether something carries a Luxe label. The full detail is on our affiliate disclosure page.
Where we have got to
The country and city writing you can read now is finished. The listings are not. We are working through properties, tables and operators one at a time. Nothing appears until its details are confirmed, so the category pages are empty for the moment rather than full of things we have not checked.
